Best Tweet Pic Uploader

I like yFrog quite a bit because it acts almost indentical to Twitter's interface but with an emphasis on photos. If you are really into photography, its a great way to watch your twitter feed and comment specifically on photos and videos. What it makes up for in fucnctionality and ease it lacks in mobility however. They have yet to produce an iPhone app for the majority of Twitter users on phones however they do have apps for Androids and Blackberrys. When using the official Twitter app for iPhone it automatically sends your photos to yFrog and since most mobile iPhone owners use this app it gives yFrog an extreme edge on the competition.

I discovered Lockerz when I began using Echofon on my iPhone. Essentially it wasn't built with Twitter in mind but uses photo uploading as a way of attracting users to their site. I haven't used it much since then and I didn't see it having my desire for efficency and practicality in mind.

Although TwitPic was first on the scene in demand for photo uploading after the rise of Twitter, in functionality it is only a prosthetic limb to the body of TwitVid. TwitPic's branding has allowed it to stay on the scene in wake of its social counterpart. TwitPics allows its users to search for pictures based on captions in tweets. This type of service is incredibly useful for twitter image searches. Its public timeline is a bit primitive web development as is the feel and appearance of its sight but that doesn't slow down its popularity it seems.

Probably the most powerful picture client, TwitVid allows you to upload pictures and video from your mobile device or webcam. TwitVid allows up to 2GB of video on their site and does not limit the length of videos. There is no iPhone app for it however it gives each user a person address to email or SMS their photos and video to. @justinbieber is known to use this service a lot for his webcam posts. If your a avid vlogger, or like to shoot and post videos often,TwitVid is the right Picture/Video service for you.

Instagram is the most unique and socialized of all Twitter uploaders. Generally well liked and used by the hipster population, this artistic app gives a diverse loadout of 14 effects that transform your photography into works of art. The application integrates with Twitter, Facebook, Flickr, Tumblr, Posterous, Foursquare and your email. I use this with a lot of personal artistic photos that could use the effects. It also allows you to see a feed of other your friends photos and follow them just like twitter. In terms of development, appearance, functionality, efficiency, and ease of access, Instagram is the best Picture/Uploader. I highly doubt any video editing or storage is in the near future but I definitely predict increased popularity and usage of this app.
